• Private Pilot Licence/Course
(PPL)
This is the final step in becoming a recreational pilot and is also
required for continuation towards a Commercial Pilot Licence. This part
of your training involves navigation exercises to various destinations.
We offer a controlled airspace and a non-controlled airspace course.
The theory side covers several subject matters including Navigation,
Flight Planning and Meteorology.
Flight Training covers a number of procedures, both normal and emergency
as well as low level navigation. A Private Pilot Licence can be achieved
within 5 to 6 weeks full time or over several months if part time is
preferred.
This class of licence allows you to act as pilot in command of an aircraft
for private or recreational purposes. This means you can fly Australia
wide in good weather conditions in your own aircraft carrying passengers,
although not for hire or reward. Additional aircraft type endorsements
and ratings including Instrument and Night ratings are available on
completion of the PPL.

Basic Requirements:
• Minimum age 17 years
• Minimum flying time 40 Hours
• Pass a PPL Theory Exam and a Flight Test
